Who it is for
Independent mobile mechanics and small shops with a service truck, verified by Rollagain. You are your own business, not an employee: your prices, your radius, your hours, your customers. Rollagain brings the price, the payment and the record; it never tells you how to do the work.
How a job works for you
- The offer. A request near your base, in your radius, reaches your phone while you are available. You see the truck, the problem and the driver's photos, and you quote first, from your own prices.
- One locked price before any work. The customer approves your price or declines it. Nothing is added without a new approval; something else on site is a new price.
- Payment secured before you roll. The customer's card is held, not charged, when they approve. You see “Payment secured”, and only then you go.
- Before and after photos. No photo, no start; no photo, no finish. Each photo carries its time and GPS point, so a dispute is decided on facts.
- The 24-hour confirmation. The customer confirms the truck is rolling and the card is charged. If they say nothing, the job confirms itself 24 hours after you mark it done. A dispute holds the money, never reverses it, and Rollagain decides on the record within 48 hours.
- Payouts through Stripe. The amount charged, less the fee, goes to your Stripe account within about a business day and then to your own bank on Stripe's schedule.
Your own customers
Your regular customers do not become network jobs. Open a job for them and send the link by text or WhatsApp: they see your price and approve it on their phone, their card is held, and you get paid when the truck rolls. The customer sees the total only. No chasing, no cash disputes.
What Rollagain takes
- Network jobs, the customers Rollagain brings you: 15% of each amount charged, the locked price and each addition the customer approves.
- Your own customers: 1% plus a card fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per card charge. The customer sees only the total.
No fee to sign up and no monthly fee. A sales tax line is left out of the percentage; the card fee is on the whole charge.
What you need to get verified
- A government photo ID.
- Your repair-shop registration or repairer's license, if your state requires one.
- A certificate of insurance: at least $1,000,000 garage or general liability naming Rollagain as additional insured, and commercial auto on your service vehicle.
- A phone number you confirm with a code.
- Stripe payouts: Stripe's onboarding for your business and your bank account.
The “Get verified” checklist on your account walks you through it, the Mechanic Agreement included. Rollagain reviews the documents, usually within one business day. A review of documents is not a guarantee of anyone's work; you stay an independent business.
Questions mechanics ask
Do I have to take network jobs?
No. Go available when you want and pass on any offer. No schedule, no territory, no quota. Your own customers and your booked visits reach you whether you are available or not.
What if the customer never confirms?
The job confirms itself 24 hours after you mark it done, and the card is charged for the amount they approved. Doing nothing counts as confirming.
What if the customer disputes?
The payment is held, not reversed. You answer in the app, and Rollagain decides on the record, the photos, the GPS points and the times, within 48 hours.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Nothing to sign up, nothing per month. Rollagain takes a fee on each job it handles and nothing else.
What about highways and toll roads?
Nobody works on the mainline or the shoulder of a toll road, or of a highway that forbids it. The app sends the driver to the road's own service, and you meet the truck at a safe place: an exit, a truck stop, a lot.
The founding group
Signup is invite-only during the pilot. We are bringing on a founding group of mechanics who already have customers of their own and are done chasing payments. The invite comes from us.
