Text messages from Rollagain

What we text, to whom, how you say yes and how you stop. This page is the public record of the texting program behind our number.

Who sends them

Rollagain, the roadside truck-repair service at rollagain.app. Every text starts with “Rollagain:” and comes from one number, (866) 631-9696. Nobody else texts you through Rollagain, and your number is never given to anyone for marketing.

Until Rollagain LLC is formed, the service is operated by KNAM Media, doing business as Rollagain; the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy say the same.

What we text

Two kinds of texts, both only to people who asked for them:

  1. Updates about a repair you requested, or accepted as a mechanic: the link to your request, the locked price to approve, the mechanic on the way, arrived and done, the reminder before a job confirms itself, a check-in two days later, and the reminder before a booked visit. Mechanics get the new job nearby, the payment secured and the confirmation.
  2. A one-time code, when you tap “Text me the code” on your account to confirm your number and, once that door is open, to sign in. Each code goes out only when you ask for it.

No marketing, no promotions, no texts to anyone who did not ask.

How you say yes

Rollagain collects the consent itself, on these screens, and texts are never required to use the service:

On the signup page, a box that starts unticked:

I agree to receive automated text messages from Rollagain about my jobs at this number (the request, the locked price, the mechanic on the way, arrival, payment and confirmation) and a one-time code to confirm the number. Not required to use Rollagain. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
The signup page at phone width: the unticked consent box above the button.

On your account page, the same box, which you can untick at any time:

I agree to receive automated text messages from Rollagain about my jobs at this number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.

On the public request form, the line under the “Get a mechanic” button:

By tapping “Get a mechanic” you agree to receive automated text messages from Rollagain about this repair at the number above: the link to your request, the locked price, the mechanic on the way and the confirmation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end, HELP for help. You can also follow the request on the screen that opens, without texts.
The public request form at phone width: the consent line under the button.

On your account, the “Text me the code” button sends one code to the number you typed, and the text says what it is for.

Rollagain: your code is 482913. It works for 10 minutes. Do not share it; Rollagain will never ask you for it. Reply STOP to cancel.

On the phone line, the assistant confirms with you that it will text the link to the number you are calling from, before it does.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency varies with your jobs: a handful of texts per job and none between jobs. Message and data rates may apply, from your carrier. Rollagain does not charge for texts.

How you stop, and how you get help

Reply STOP to any text and texts from this number end; you get one confirmation and nothing more. Reply HELP and you get our support contacts. Untick the box on your account to stop job texts; the app still shows everything. Email support@rollagain.app, or call or text (866) 631-9696.
