In plain words

The full text is in English and is the version that applies. This summary is here to help you read it.

  • What we collect: your name, phone, email, company and language; the truck, plate, VIN, miles, PO number and the problem; photos with their time and place; calls (recorded and transcribed), texts and messages to the assistant; ratings and dispute statements. Mechanics also give us ID, license, insurance and tax information. An automated reader pulls the dates and limits from an insurance certificate for our team to check, and a mechanic may have Stripe check their ID with a selfie: we keep the result and the name on the ID, never the pictures or the face data, and a person at Rollagain accepts the ID. With a mechanic’s separate authorization, Checkr may run a background check; a person at Rollagain reviews it, and if anything in it could count against the mechanic, they get a copy and a summary of their rights first.
  • Cards: Stripe keeps your card, not us. We see the last four digits and whether a payment went through, and we can place a hold and a charge through Stripe.
  • Location: we use your phone’s location when you request a job, when a mechanic responds to or works on one, and when a photo is taken. While a mechanic is driving to you, their position is shared with you live. We do not track anyone between jobs.
  • Who sees it: the other side of your job (phone numbers only after a price is approved); your company’s manager if you drive for a fleet; the companies that run the service for us (Stripe, Twilio, ElevenLabs, Anthropic, Telegram, Resend, Supabase, Vercel, Google, Apple, your fleet’s telematics); a tow company dispatch calls for you; insurers or the card network if there is a dispute or chargeback; the authorities when the law requires. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for ads.
  • Texts: only if you say yes, plus the one-time code you ask for to confirm your number. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Not required. Your number is never given to anyone for marketing, and your yes to texts is never shared with anyone.
  • How long: job records, receipts and payment records for 7 years (tax, insurance and dispute rules). Call recordings and messages for 2 years when not part of a job. A mechanic’s rating kept against a customer’s phone number for 3 years. Mechanic documents while the account is open and 3 years after.
  • Your choices: change your name, phone, language and company in the app; turn location off in phone settings; email privacy@rollagain.app to ask what rating is held against you or to delete your account (the job and payment records we must keep stay). Your state may give you more rights; the same email handles them.
  • A mechanic may rate you after a job. Other mechanics see only the average and the count; the note is seen by us and the mechanic who wrote it. It is never shared outside Rollagain.
  • Under 18: not for you. United States only.

This summary is for reading. The full text below is the agreement and controls if they differ.

This Privacy Policy explains how Rollagain LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (in formation) (“Rollagain,” “we,” “us”; until Rollagain LLC is formed, the service is operated by KNAM Media, doing business as Rollagain, and “Rollagain,” “we” and “us” mean that operator) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Rollagain website, mobile web application, phone and messaging assistants (the “Platform”). It is part of our Terms of Service. Rollagain is offered in the United States only.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information: name, email address, mobile phone number, password (stored scrambled, in a form we cannot read back), role (driver, fleet manager, or mechanic), company name, and your language.
  • Job information: vehicle description, unit number, plate, VIN, odometer reading, purchase order number, the problem you describe, and any notes you send.
  • Photographs: photos you take of the vehicle, the problem, and the work before and after, and photos of receipts for the parts used on a Job, which the Platform stamps with time and, when available, location.
  • Calls and messages: when you call our number, the call is answered by an automated assistant and is recorded and transcribed. When you text us, message us on a messaging app, or use the web form, we keep the messages, your number or handle, and what the assistant learns from them (your location, vehicle, problem, name, and language).
  • Mechanic verification documents: a government-issued ID, state repair registration or license, certificates of insurance, tax information, and a photo of your service vehicle, including any personal information on those documents.
  • Payment information: collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe keeps your card; we never see or store the full card number or a bank account number. Rollagain receives a token, the card brand and last four digits, and payment status, and through Stripe we can place the hold and the charge for a Job. Mechanics complete identity and bank verification with Stripe directly.
  • Ratings, dispute statements, and messages you submit on the Platform.

Information collected automatically

  • Precise location: when you request a Job, when a mechanic responds to a Job, repeatedly while a mechanic is on the way to a Job so the customer can see them coming, until they arrive, and when photos are taken, each with your device’s permission. We do not track anyone between Jobs or in the background.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, timestamps, error logs, and, if you turn on notifications, a push notification token.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: only the cookies that keep you signed in, remember your language, and protect against fraud. We do not use advertising cookies.

Information from others

  • The other party to your Job (for example, a mechanic’s arrival time or a driver’s confirmation).
  • Stripe (payment and verification status), Twilio (text message and call delivery status), and mapping providers (address lookups for coordinates you share).
  • Telematics your fleet connects: if a fleet links its telematics provider (for example Samsara), we read vehicle positions, odometer readings, and fault codes for the fleet’s trucks, using a token the fleet gives us, to fill in requests and maintenance reminders.
  • Ratings a mechanic leaves about a customer after a Job (see the Terms, Section 10).
  • Public records used to verify a mechanic’s license, registration, or insurance.
  • Background checks of mechanics: if Rollagain asks a mechanic for one, its status and the report’s overall result from Checkr, Inc., a consumer reporting agency, after the mechanic authorizes it on Checkr’s own page.

2. How we use information

  • To operate the Platform: create accounts, match requests with nearby mechanics, send and lock quotes, hold and capture payments, pay mechanics, invoice companies, and keep the Job Record.
  • To run our automated assistant on calls, texts, and messaging apps, and to check and improve its answers.
  • To verify mechanics’ identity, licensing, and insurance, and to keep those verifications current. An automated reader pulls the insured’s name, the policies, their limits and dates, and the parties named as additional insured from an uploaded certificate of insurance, so our team can check it against our requirements. A mechanic may instead verify their ID through Stripe Identity: Stripe collects a photo of the ID and a live selfie, compares the faces, and handles those images and the face data under its own privacy policy, asking for consent in its own flow. Rollagain keeps only the result and the name on the ID, and a person at Rollagain accepts the ID; we never receive or store the images or any face data. With a mechanic’s separate written authorization, given on the page of Checkr, Inc., a consumer reporting agency, Rollagain may ask for a background check: Checkr collects what it needs (including a Social Security number) on its own page and sends the mechanic a copy of the report, and Rollagain receives the check’s status and overall result and never stores the Social Security number. A person at Rollagain reviews every report, and before any decision that a report could count against a mechanic, the mechanic receives a copy of the report and a summary of their rights, with time to respond.
  • To confirm that the mobile number on an account belongs to the account holder, with a one-time code sent by text.
  • To communicate with you about your account and Jobs by text message, email, phone, push notification, and in-app notices.
  • To resolve disputes, respond to chargebacks, prevent fraud, and keep users safe.
  • To measure and improve the Platform, including arrival times and service quality.
  • To comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Rollagain, our users, and the public.

The Platform’s automated steps (matching a request with nearby mechanics, the 24-hour confirmation, the late notice, trust flags) follow fixed rules, and the certificate reader only points our team at what to check. A person at Rollagain decides disputes, account pauses, whether a mechanic’s documents are accepted, and anything based on a background check.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for targeted advertising.

3. How we share information

  • With the other party to a Job. A mechanic sees the driver’s name, company, vehicle, location, problem description, and photos, and the average and count of ratings other mechanics left about the customer; the note behind a rating is seen by Rollagain and the mechanic who left it only. A driver sees the mechanic’s business name, name, rating, verification status, distance, and quote. Phone numbers are shared only after a quote is approved. After the Job, both parties keep access to the Job Record and receipt.
  • With the mechanic who invited you, if you signed up with a mechanic’s referral link: your first name, when you joined, whether you signed up as a mechanic, and whether your account is verified or working jobs. Never your email, phone, or anything else.
  • With fleet accounts. If you drive for a fleet that uses Rollagain, the fleet’s manager can see Jobs booked under the fleet account, can request or cancel a Job for you, and receives the same Job updates you do.
  • With the companies that run parts of the Platform for us, which may use your information only to do that work: Stripe (payments and identity verification), Twilio (calls and text messages), ElevenLabs (the phone assistant’s voice and transcription), Anthropic (the AI model behind our assistant and our certificate reader, under its commercial terms), Telegram (if you message us there), Resend (email), Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting, and anonymous page-view counts that set no cookie), Google (address lookups, parts-store searches near a Job, and, for the Android app, push notifications), Apple (push notifications for the iOS app), Checkr (background checks of mechanics, only with the mechanic’s separate authorization), and a fleet’s telematics provider only when the fleet connects it. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
  • With insurers, the payment processor, or card networks when a Job Record is needed to evaluate a claim, dispute, or chargeback.
  • With a tow company a dispatcher calls for you: the location of the vehicle and your phone number, so they can find you and call you.
  • With authorities or others when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect safety, or to enforce our Terms.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Text messages

If you opt in at signup or in your account settings, give your number on the “Get a mechanic” form, text us first, or give your number to our phone assistant and agree to receive the link, Rollagain sends automated transactional text messages about your account and Jobs, such as the link to your Job, quotes, arrival and delay updates, completion notices, payment confirmations, a reminder for a booked visit, and one check-in two days after a Job. Message frequency depends on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help, or email support@rollagain.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service; if you opt out, updates still appear on your Job page. Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Rollagain does not send marketing texts. When you ask for a code to confirm your phone number, we text you that one-time code; automated texts to the number on a Rollagain account go only to a number confirmed that way or by our team calling it.

5. How long we keep information

  • Job Records, receipts, invoices, and payment records: 7 years after the Job. Tax, accounting, and insurance rules require it, and a dispute or claim can come long after the repair.
  • Precise location: stored as part of the Job Record only; we do not keep a movement history outside Jobs.
  • Call recordings, transcripts, texts, and assistant messages: as long as the Job Record they belong to; otherwise 2 years after the last message.
  • Ratings of a customer kept against a mobile number: 3 years after the rating.
  • Mechanic verification documents and the record of a background check (its status, overall result, and the decision): while the mechanic’s account is active and for 3 years after it closes, or longer if required by law or an open claim.
  • Account information: until you close your account, then for as long as needed to complete open Jobs and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

6. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that limit each user to their own data, photos and documents kept in private storage that can be opened only through links that expire, and monitoring. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, which is certified to the highest card-security standard (PCI DSS Level 1). No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as required by law.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction: you can view and update your name, phone, language, and company in your account at any time.
  • Location: control location sharing in your device settings. Some features need it.
  • Texts: opt out by replying STOP or by changing the setting in your account.
  • Ratings about you: email privacy@rollagain.app to ask what rating is held against your account or number and to ask us to review one (Terms, Section 10).
  • Deletion: email privacy@rollagain.app to close your account and delete your information. We keep the Job and payment records described in Section 5 for as long as the law and our obligations require; everything else is deleted.
  • State privacy rights. Depending on the state you live in (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to: see the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; get a copy you can take elsewhere; say no to it being sold, used for targeted ads, or used for certain automated profiling; and not be treated worse for using these rights. Rollagain does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted ads. To exercise a right, email privacy@rollagain.app from your account email or the phone number on your Job; we will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law. You may appeal a denial by replying to our response. Someone can make the request for you if they show your written permission.

8. Children

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email, text, or on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
